第一場:從心理學和巫俗實踐工作來重返鬼神世界

場地:TCAC

宗教經驗和超自然現象一直在人類社會中扮演著重要的角色;其中,巫文化和宗教祭儀更是和藝術的起源息息相關。本屆台灣國際錄像藝術展即針對當代社會中的巫文化、宗教和超自然經驗,在動態影像上的表達、以及影像自身所乘載的鬼魅性來進行探討。透過具有現代性意識的藝術書寫,其實是難以討論創作者在創作的過程中,如何受到這些特異經驗的直接或間接影響。因此,在展覽正式開始前;透過鳳甲美術館和TCAC及tamtamArt的合作,希望可以從心理學、宗教人類學及巫俗實踐等不同領域的討論,來重塑出可以重新感知鬼神的藝術討論。

The Return of Ghosts: Series Forums for the 4th

Forum I: Return to Spiritual World through Psychological Viewpoints and Practices of Oracles

Venue: TCAC

Date: 6/1 (Sun.) 14:00-17:00 p.m.

Undoubtedly the culture of religious experiences and supernatural phenomena plays a significant role in human society. Moreover, the sorcery of culture and the sorcery trials are fundamentally rooted in the origin of art. The 4th Taiwan International Video Art Exhibition focuses on the discussion in how the contemporary moving images can be depicted within the concepts among the sorcery of culture, religion, and supernatural experiences in modern society, as well as how the spectrality can be portrayed in the videos. Due to the unapproachable to the discourse in how the artists were influenced by these special experiences directly or indirectly throughout their practices via the medium of art which containing contemporary intentions. Therefore, before the exhibition, working on in collaboration with Hong-Gah Museum, TCAC, and tamtamArt, the series forums aim to present a discussion and to remodel the perception of supernatural beings from the perspectives of psychology, religion, anthropology, and practices of oracles.
