本週五TCAC將邀請到台北雙年展2012策展人安瑟姆 法蘭克舉行盛大的Friday Bar 演講，安瑟姆 法蘭克將以各種方式介紹一系列展覽，探索邊境與美學之間的關係。

台北雙年展2012策展人Anselm Franke簡介

安瑟姆．法蘭克1978年生於德國海寧根堡，現為獨立策展人與自由撰稿者，於2013年1月起，他將出任柏林著名的藝術機構世界文化中心(Haus der Kulturen der Welt)視覺藝術／電影部門主策劃人。早期擔任柏林人民劇場的電影／戲劇／歌劇導演克里斯托夫．史林根希福(Christoph Schligensief)的助理導演，(史林根希福為2011年第54屆威尼斯雙年展最佳國家館——德國館的展覽藝術家)，之後歷任兩個當代藝術機構要職，分別為2001年至2006年間，擔任柏林藝術工場當代藝術中心(KW Institute for Contemporary Art)策展人，以及2006年至2010年間，比利時安特衛普Extra City當代藝術中心主任。亦曾擔任2008年第7屆歐洲之聲(Manifesta 7)以及第1屆布魯塞爾雙年展之共同策展人。
法蘭克之專業領域廣泛涉獵劇場、電影與建築，不僅曾為柏林HAU表演藝術中心規畫表演藝術節、2005年時與Stefanie Schulte-Strathaus為柏林影展創設「Forum Expanded」單元，並擔任該單元策展人至今。在學術教育方面，他曾任教於倫敦大學Goldsmiths學院、柏林自由大學與紐約巴特學院等校。著作論述豐富，曾擔任多本專輯編輯，評論文章多發表於Cabinet Magazine、Parkett、DOMUS、Manifesta Journal、Mousse、e-flux Journal等當代藝術雜誌。

Aesthetics Through Borders

In this lecture, Anselm Franke, curator of the Taipei Biennale 2012 will present a series of exhibitions that have explored, in various ways, the relation between borders and aesthetics.

Anselm Franke
Anselm Franke is a curator and writer based in Berlin and throughout 2012, Taipei. He was director of Extra City Antwerp until, and co-curated the European Biennale Manifesta 7. He is co-curator of the Forum Expanded at the Berlinale Filmfestival and a researcher at Goldsmiths College London.
