2019 錄像廳 -《電影作者》作者群電影選映

《電影作者》作者群電影選映為配合4月19日當晚影像研究者董冰峰《中國當代藝術中的電影》新書發表會舉辦,提供觀眾瞭解書中第四章:回到「現場」關於展覽電影概念的流變實例。當日將播放《電影作者》雜誌作者群中叢峰的《地層2:軟流層》、鄧伯超的《豬公的骰子》和張昭昊/最高與胡新宇的《96’- House [Hao si]》

《地層2:軟流層》 ,叢峰,2018,263分鐘。

這是關於景觀的電影,也是關於空間的電影,是關於景觀如何引發了我們棲居的(物理的與精神)空間的異變的電影。它意欲成為這個時代的空間電影,成為一部史詩劇,成為對這個時代的總體地質構造的一種考察。

我發明或改造了一些詞彙,用以達到我的意圖:考現學;廢墟學;空間破產;生活劇場-殘酷劇場-景觀劇場;軀體電影;新柏林墻-鐵幕;沒有難民營的難民,植物,幽靈,軟流層,暗能量⋯⋯

我盜用了大量的既有材料——現實的或電影的材料。盜用正是與歷史、以及與電影的歷史產生關系的方式,以此來構建一種「回聲電影」。

《豬公的骰子》,鄧伯超,2018,87分鐘。

蘿蔔星球為了賣軍火,挑起雞蛋星球和蘋果星球之間的戰爭。大家都想著發戰爭財,沒想到蝴蝶效應逐步失控,打破了整個星系的平衡……意外的,星系最強的豬星球,被拉下神壇……

《96’- House [Hao si]》,張昭昊╱最高與胡新宇,99分鐘。

如果避開一個又一個「梗」來談這個片子好像沒有什麽內容。不過我們更是希望把「真實」隨意篡改,因為這樣很方便進入某些正史。

///關於導演

叢峰

1972年生於河北承德,電影作者,寫作者,《電影作者》雜志編委。著有詩集《那裏有一列我看不見的火車》《一部雅俗共賞的文學作品謝謝我也這麽認為》,電影作品包括《馬大夫的診所》《未完成的生活史》《地層1:來客》《有毛的房間》《地層2:軟流層》,作品曾參加雲之南紀錄影像展、柏林國際電影節、首爾數碼電影節、日本山形國際紀錄片影展、台北紀錄片雙年展、台灣南方影展等影像活動,曾獲柏林電影節青年電影論壇netpac獎、日本導演協會獎等獎項。

鄧伯超

海南大學(06-10)戲劇影視本科。
北京電影學院(10-11)攝影班進修 。
《電影作者》編委會成員。
現浪跡江湖,是一個世俗標準下的失敗者。

張昭昊╱最高

青年藝術家、導演。強鹼藝術工作室創始人。他以對生活中感覺的捕捉為創作動力。

胡新宇

太原師範學院音樂系副教授。《電影作者》雜志編委。2001年底,開始拍攝第一部作品:紀錄片《男人》。2007年,完成第二部作品:紀錄片《姉貴》。2007年7月,做為藝術家艾未未《1001個童話》紀錄片上海部分剪輯。2002-2009年,完成第三部作品:紀錄片《家庭恐懼》。2013年8月,完成第四部作品:紀錄片《芻狗-關於黑道小弟和他……》。2016年12月,第13屆北京獨立影像展紀錄片競賽單元評委。2019年3月底,與藝術家張昭昊合作,完成第五部作品:實驗電影《96’》。

The screening Film Auteur Selection is accompanied with the book launch of Cinema Of Exhibition: Film in Chinese Contemporary Art written by film scholar Dong Bingfeng. Mentioned in the fourth chapter of the book, Film Auteur, an independent Chinese magazine about film, is an example of how the idea of cinema of exhibition is embodied in the film directors’ collective. The screening includes Stratum 2: The Asthenosphere by Cong Feng, The Hog’s Dice by Deng Bochao, and 96’- House [Hao si] by Zhaohao Zhang/ Highest and Xinyu Hu.

Stratum 2: The Asthenosphere, Cong Feng, 2018, 263mins.

This is a film about landscape, about space. It is about how transformation of both physical and mental space in which we dwell is triggered by the landscape. The film intends to become a spatial film, an epic film, and an close inspection of geology structure of our times.

I invented and re-invented some terms to achieve my goal: modernology, ruinology; space bankruptcy; living theater – cruel theater – landscape theater; body film; new Berlin wall – iron curtain; refugees without refugee camps, plants, ghosts, asthenosphere, dark energy….

I appropriated a large amount of found footages – from either the lives or films. Appropriation is the way to establish the relations between history and history of film, becoming a new genre Echo Film.

 

The Hog’s Dice, Deng Bochao, 2018, 87mins.

In order to sell ammo, Radish planet provokes a war between Egg planet and Apple planet. They just want to do business via war, but things run out of control and break the balance of this galaxy…Pig planet, the dominant force in the galaxy, is accidentally dragged down the altar.

 

96’- House [Hao si], Zhaohao Zhang/ Highest and Xinyu Hu, 99mins.

There is nothing to say if we try to avoid spoilers in this film. The truth is more likely to be tampered by us, in order to craftly navigate the written history.  

 

/// About Directors

Cong Feng

Born in 1972 Chengde, Hebei province, China. He is a film director, poet and editor of Film Auteur. Published poems include There is a Train I Could Not See, A Acclaimed Literature by Elite And Dregs And Thank You For Agreeing With Me. He is the director of Doctor Ma’s Country Clinic, The Unfinished History of Life, Stratum 1: The Visitor, Rooms with Mao’s Images, Stratum 2: The Asthenosphere. His documentaries have been screened at Yun Nan Muiti-culture Visual Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, Cinema Digital Seoul Film Festival, Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival, Taiwan International Documentary Festival, South Taiwan Film Festival. He was awarded for NETPAC in Berlinale, and Directors Guild of Japan Award.

Deng Bochao

Hainan University (06-10) undergraduate major in drama and film.
Beijing Film Academy (10-11) cinematography diplomacy.
Member of the editorial for Film Auteur.
A wanderer and a loser under secular standard.

Zhaohao Zhang/ Highest

A young artist whose art works including video art and performance art,  not only a director but also the founder of the STRONG ALKALI art studio. His motivation to do the free and independent new media art is inspired by everydays’ mood.

Xinyu Hu

Born in 1969, is the associate professor of Music Department of Taiyuan Normal University. Xinyu Hu is one of the pioneers of China’s private documentary. In 2002, he shot the documentary Man. In 2006, he shot the documentary Zigui. From 2002 to 2009, he shot the documentary Family Phobia. In 2007, Xinyu Hu was invited to work for Weiwei Ai as the film editor of the Shanghai Section of Weiwei Ai’s documentary 1001 fairy tales. In 2013, he shot the documentary Straw Dogs -About Gangster brother and His…
