Writing FACTory: Pages of Here and There

Chang Wen-Hsuan’s practices mainly deal the relationships and dynamics between individual’s stories and the writing of history. In Chang’ works, exhibiting spaces are turned into certain narrative spaces. Writing FACTory, a non-site space and a virtual factory producing discourse, research and printed matter, brings together that writing / publishing as both artistic and political practice.
This Book Club event is organised in collaboration with Alumnos. Writing FACTory is initiated by Chang Wen-Hsuan.

張紋瑄的創作實踐主要專注在於個人故事與歷史書寫之間的關係和動態。在張紋瑄的作品中，展演空間被轉換成了特定的敘事空間。而書寫公廠，作為一個無實際標地且虛擬的製造廠，產出的論述、研究及印刷品，將書寫／出版進行連結，使其作為藝術與政治的實踐。
這次的讀書會活動與 Alumnos 所合作承辦。書寫公廠由張紋瑄策劃。
